Unrequited

wrote this way back in the year 2000. i found it just today. to think i felt like this then too... =)

By watching her,
She could see the love in her eyes,
The love for a person,
Who doesn't love in return.

By watching her,
She could see the sparkle in her eyes,
A sparkle of fascination,
To him only condemnation.

By watching her,
She could see the need in her eyes,
The need to be loved,
A need never granted.

By watching her,
She could see the pain her eyes,
The pain of having loved,
And not loved in return.
