When kindy was over and the kids were waiting for their parents to come pick them up, they get into all sorts of funny business.
Amos climbed onto 3 chairs stacked together (kindy chairs). Now, as all of you know, kids should not be allowed to do this because they might fall (even if you think the height isn't that much at all). So, Teacher Joanne used something on her hand (which was a long, red ledger accounts book, the hardcover kind) and hit him lightly on his leg, saying something to the effect, "Amos, don't stand so high up. Come down now."
Amos looked like those faces you get when you know you're wrong for a second. Then he came down.
He walked over to where Teacher Joanne had just left that book on the table. He pointed to the book, and said, "This is not for beating wan."
..... XD We all were stunned for a while, and then we laughed so hard and Amos went out from the room (to another teacher, as we found out).
Another teacher who was in the back, Teacher Rajes, asked us what had happened. We told her, and she said, "Do you know what Amos said? He said, 'Teacher Rajes, they all laughing at me' "
